Mural at DIESEL
LOUNGE in New Haven, CT
Chalk and Pastel
on black paint, about 15 feet wide
The idea here was
to create a trompe l'oiel mural, a false mirror which would "reflect"
the bar on the opposite
wall and the mirrors above it. Pretty convincing after a few drinks
when the lights are low.
Now if I could just
get people to stop touching it: "is that....chalk? oops,
guess it is."
These are the mirrors
above the bar at DIESEL LOUNGE, painted with acrylics.
They are both about
8 feet wide and three feet high.
